What we do
We raise awareness of IP ownership rights, empower businesses to reclaim control of their resources, and build an inclusive Internet community where every member can participate in policy and governance.
Protect the resources, and the business that depends on them
A network’s stability starts with its IP registration rights. NRS stands with the members of the Number Resource Government Bodies, and with everyone who cares about a stable Internet, to defend their resource rights and the business built on them. The Internet’s stability underpins social stability; keeping members’ resources and business secure protects both.
Connect members with each other
NRS brings together Internet resource holders, IT and telecommunications companies and others who share the same goals. At our meetings and events, members from different backgrounds meet, exchange ideas and support each other.
Bring more people into Internet governance
We run specialised training and courses for the staff of resource members and for university students, so they understand why Internet governance matters and how it shapes the Internet’s long-term future. Every NRS member can apply for the courses open for registration.
Connect talent with jobs and internships
Through partnerships with universities around the world, NRS has built a network of ambitious students and graduates. We help members find the interns and job candidates they need, and give students a first-hand look at the Internet industry through internships.
