The NRS Better Internet Event held on March 22, 2023, was a resounding success. Co-hosted by NIC-MAURITANIE and Co-organizers NRS and HI SERVICES, and sponsored by the Ministry of Digital Transition, Innovation, and Modernization of Administration, the event was aimed at exploring the concept and configuration of IPV6 addressing.
The event was held at the prestigious Nouakchott Hotel in Mauritania's capital city, Nouakchott, and started promptly at 9:00 am. The venue was filled with experts, enthusiasts, and stakeholders from various sectors, eager to learn about the future of internet addressing.
The event kicked off with a keynote address by a representative from the Ministry of Digital Transition, Innovation, and Modernization of Administration, who highlighted the importance of IPV6 addressing and the government's commitment to promoting and facilitating its adoption.
The event featured a series of informative presentations and interactive sessions led by experts in the field of IPV6 addressing. Participants were taken through the technical details of IPV6 addressing and how it differs from the current IPV4 addressing system.
The presentations and interactive sessions were not only informative but also engaging and interactive, with participants having the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarification on various issues related to IPV6 addressing.
The Better Internet Event in Mauritania was not only successful in terms of the number of participants who attended but also in terms of achieving its objective of promoting IPV6 addressing.
