The Decentralize the Internet Competition.

1. Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and above.

  • Participants can be from any country.

  • Person's ineligible and excluded from this Campaign are: (a) Employees of NRS and their advertising, fulfilment, and promotion agencies; (b) Affiliates and subsidiaries and the immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their spouses and household members) of those mentioned in (a).

 

2. How to Enter:

  • Submit your proposal for a decentralized registration database to info@nrs.help.

  • The proposal must include an overview of the solution, technical architecture, implementation plan, benefits, challenges, and any additional features.

  • All entries must be received by the 30th of October 2024.

 

3. Submission Guidelines:

  • All proposals must be the original work of the participant. By submitting a proposal, the participant confirms that it is their own creation and has not been copied or reproduced from any other source.

  • Submissions must not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate. Proposals must adhere to all applicable laws and community standards.

  • Each participant may submit only one proposal. Multiple submissions from the same participant will not be accepted and may result in disqualification.

 

4. Judging Criteria:

  • Innovation and Creativity

            - Originality of the concept.

            - Uniqueness in approach or methodology.

            - Creative use of resources and materials.

  • Feasibility

            - Practicality of implementation.

            - Realistic assessment of resources and time required.

            - Sustainability and scalability of the idea.

  • Technical Excellence

           - Quality and sophistication of technical components.

           - Attention to detail and precision in execution.

           - Effective problem-solving and technical skills demonstrated.

  • Impact

           - Potential positive effects on the intended audience or community.

           - Contribution to the relevant field or industry.

           - Long-term benefits and influence of the project.

  • Presentation

          - Clarity and coherence in conveying the idea.

          - Professionalism and effectiveness in communication.

          - Visual appeal and organization of materials presented.

 

5. Prizes:

  • 1st Prize: $5,000

  • 2nd Prize: $3,000

  • Winners will be notified at the conclusion of the campaign via email.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the sponsor’s sole discretion.

 

6. Winner Selection and Notification:

  • Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on the judging criteria.

  • Winners will be notified via the email provided during entry within 5 days following the selection of winners.

  • If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 14 days from the time the award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.

 

7. Rights Granted by You:

  • By entering this competition, you agree that Number Resource Society may use your proposal and your name, likeness, and city of residence for promotional purposes without further compensation.

  • Participants retain ownership of their proposals but grant Number Resource Society a non- exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display the proposals in connection with the competition.

 

8. General Conditions:

  • Number Resource Society reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition at any time if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factors impair the integrity or proper functioning of the competition. Such actions will be taken to ensure fairness and compliance with applicable laws.

  • Number Resource Society reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the competition or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in a disruptive manner.

 

9. Limitation of Liability:

  • By participating in this event, you agree to release and indemnify the Number Resource Society and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, including but not limited to illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage, whether directly or indirectly caused, arising from your participation in the event and/or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any part thereof.

 

10. Disputes:

  • This competition is governed by the laws of Morocco, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this competition, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this competition, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Morocco having jurisdiction.

 

11. Data Collection and Data Protection:

  1. Data Collection:

    • We will only collect data that is necessary for the purposes of this promotion. Excessive or unnecessary data collection is avoided to protect the participants’ data and right to privacy.

  2. Commercial Communications:

    • Opting in to receive commercial communications is voluntary and cannot be made mandatory for participation in this promotion.

  3. Data Sharing:

    • Participants have the right to refuse consent for their data to be shared with third parties. Consent for data sharing with third parties cannot be mandatory for participation in this promotion.

  4. Consent:

    • Consent for receiving communications or sharing data must be explicitly given by the participant. We do not employ "opt-out consent" methods where participants must actively decline to receive communications or share data.

 

12. Sponsor:

  • The sponsor of this competition is Number Resource Society, located at 133, Boulevard Ziraoui, Casablanca, Morocco.

 

By engaging in the competition, you acknowledge and consent to adhere to these Terms and Conditions without reservation, affirming your eligibility to participate. Furthermore, you affirm to respect and abide by the determinations of the Number Resource Society, considering them definitive and obligatory concerning all aspects of this competition.
